Congregation in South Carolina holds Vacation Bible School and evangelistic crusades along with planting churches in Trinidad   (click to open/close)

A Southern Baptist church in South Carolina sent a team of ten, including youth and a youth pastor, on a mission trip to Trinidad, West Indies. According to the congregation's Mission Match application materials, "they worked with others from two churches to conduct Vacation Bible School in a small Indian village in an effort to lead boys and girls to faith in Jesus Christ. VBS was conducted in this village last year and we hope to build on that foundation. Evangelistic crusades were conducted in two areas to proclaim the message of Christ, and to assist in the planting and development of churches in the two areas." A follow-up comment to Mission Match from the South Carolina congregation said, "It has been a great encouragement to the Trinidad Mission Team and to the church as a whole to see this eager response, and of course, your response has been equally encouraging. Thank you for the manner in which you are advancing the Kingdom's work by encouraging others."
